Use of collected personal data
If you are subscribed to our mailing list, we send regular information about our products and news. Only your email address is collected for this treatment. In each newsletter a link is made available to unsubscribe. We use SendInBlue service with servers located in Europe to send you our newsletter bimonthly, about 6 per year.
Account creation on the Coverpla website is necessary for some of our services.
This account allows us:
- Assign your Account Manager automatically based on the location of your business
- To identify you to facilitate our exchanges, letters, emails, quotes, …
- To offer you other services in the future
This account allows you to:
- Not having to provide us with your identification and location information for each request
- Update your personal and professional information
The collected data is your civil status (last name, first name, email), the details of your company (address, telephone), proof of your consent (IP address of your machine, date and time).
Request for Quote
The request for quote is not accessible to users that do not have an account with us and that are therefore not identified.
For users identified during your quote requests, we use the information from your personal account. They serve us to send your quotation request by email to the Coverpla sales representative responsible for your area with all the information to be able to establish a quote and contact you.
This also allows us to send you an email confirming your request with the identification of the sales person who supports you at Coverpla.
Your quote requests are also recorded at the site level to allow us to consult them in case of problems when receiving emails.
We do not collect any additional personal data when requesting quotes.
The data collected by our contact form is only used for customer service questions, we do not use them for commercial purposes.
If you have an account and log into this site, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.
When you sign in, we’ll set up a number of cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a login cookie is two days and that of a cookie screen option is one year. If you check “remember me”, your cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

Inactive accounts and requests for quotes are kept for 3 years before destruction. The messages sent via the contact form are not stored and directly delivered by email.

If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we have about you, including the ones you have provided. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not take into account the data stored for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Transmission of your personal data
Coverpla does not transfer any of your personal data. The only transfers are between Coverpla and its technical service providers or internally in the company.
How we protect your data
Coverpla hosts its website with a French provider that provides specialized and secure hosting. In reference to our site, our service provider in charge of development and maintenance keeps the whole site up to date as well as the plugins to guarantee you the best security. Maintenance is done monthly and in an emergency if a declared security breach concerns one of the products or plugin that we use.
In regards of our site, we use a specialized security solution to guard against major computer attacks (firewall, antivirus, anti-malware, IP filtering …).
All your data is saved on the servers of our hosting provider and this company has its own backups. Our technical service provider also keeps all the history of the site on its development and versioning servers.
Procedures implemented in case of data leak
In case of data leakage, Coverpla will send an email with an account security procedure to all its users. The technical teams will be mobilized urgently and will intervene to identify the flaw and implement the necessary corrective measures. During this period, drastic security decisions can be made, possibly leading to the unavailability of some of our services.
